SINCE OUR COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED, WE BELIEVE THAT PLASTIC AND THE ENVIRONMENT SHOULD COEXIST. STARPLAST IS FOCUSED ON BECOMING A PART OF THE SOLUTION TO THE GLOBAL PROBLEM OF PLASTIC WASTE. OUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE FROM "GOOD PLASTIC" – PLASTIC THAT IS EASILY REUSABLE AND A PART OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY. THE PLASTIC PRODUCTS WE DESIGN ARE DURABLE AND MULTI-USE. IN RECENT YEARS, WE HAVE STARTED USING RECYCLED POLYPROPYLENE AND POLYETHYLENE, WHICH WE SOURCE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. STARPLAST IS PARTNERING WITH THIRD PARTIES IN VARIOUS FIELDS INCLUDING ACADEMIC RESEARCH. WE ARE INVESTING IN INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS SUCH AS BIOMASS, POST-CONSUMER WASTE, AND DEGRADABLE PLASTICS.

USING RECYCLED PLASTIC

Our goal for 2023 is to use 30% recycled material and increase its percentage to 50% by 2025 at all our plants globally.

As they say in our industry, "Recycling material is not only black." We have built a process of reverse coloring that allows turningdark-colored recycled materials into light-colored ones, making them more suitable for the end consumer.

In producing our products, we are proud to use the closed
material circle process that results in zero plastic waste.

USING GREEN ENERGY

UNLIKE GAS AND COAL, SOLAR ENERGY IS RENEWABLE, CLEAN, AND SUSTAINABLE. SOLAR POWER DOES NOT POLLUTE OUR AIR OR CONTRIBUTE TO GLOBAL WARMING. THEREFORE, IN 2012, WE INSTALLED A SOLAR PANEL SYSTEM IN OUR MAIN FACTORY. WE FOCUS ON ENERGY-SAVINGS TECHNOLOGIES, WHICH USE AT LEAST 20% LESS ENERGY IN THE PRODUCTION PROCESS COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL TECHNIQUES AND WE CONSTANTLY UPGRADE OUR PRODUCTION LINE TO MORE ENERGY-EFFICIENT MACHINES. FOR STARPLAST, BEING “GREEN” AND MAKING ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY DECISIONS IS A HIGH-PRIORITY GOAL.

OUR PRODUCTS ARE REUSABLE

The plastic products that we design are durable and multi-use. So far, our durable food containers produced from high-quality BPA-free materials prevented over 2.8 billion single-use plastic bags from entering our oceans and landfills.

OUR PACKAGING

As part of our sustainability agenda, we’re committed to replacing all single-use plastics with sustainable options and eliminating virgin packaging materials from our supply chain by 2025.
